
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
During the past 17 years, Russell Baltimore has developed a broad range of experience in Architectural Design, Project
Management, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration and Architectural Firm Development. The key to his
overall success has been his desire to be involved with every aspect of the construction process, from Project Inception all the
way through Project Closeout. Mr. Baltimore has enjoyed working on projects of all sizes and types while approaching each
project as a challenge to create spaces that improve our overall quality of life. He has worked with municipalities, developers,
non-profit organizations, school administrators as well as individual property owners to put together projects that fit their
financial, operational, spatial as well as aesthetic needs. Baltimore’s portfolio of work includes Adaptive Reuse, Education, Historic
Preservation, Hospitality & Entertainment, Light Industrial, Single-Family & Multi-family Residential, Public/Civic and Worship
facilities.
While maintaining his architectural career, Mr. Baltimore has been active as a former Chairman of the Planning Committee for the
Detroit Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects; a former member of the Board of Directors for Preservation
Wayne; a former Board member of the Detroit Historic Designation Advisory Board; a former Community Representative to the
Detroit Planning Commission Zoning Advisory Committee; and a former Adjunct Professor of Three-Dimensional Design for the
University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Architecture.
Russell Baltimore is a licensed architect in the State of Michigan, member of the American Institute of Architects, and member of
the National Organization of Minority Architects. Mr. Baltimore received his Bachelors of Science and Master of Architecture from
the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
